Artists & Rights Holders

For artists, estates, galleries, and institutions considering a Vera edition.

Jardin de Vera develops authorized elevated editions from selected paintings, with the rights holder involved in the choice of work, the physical proof, the release terms, and the record that follows each object.

The proposal

Jardin de Vera develops authorized elevated editions from selected paintings. Each project begins with the work itself: whether its surface, scale, presence, and history can support an edition that deserves to exist.

Vera is not a print-on-demand service. The house publishes sparingly, with attention to the work, the rights holder, the approved proof, and the record that will travel with every object.

How it works

Authority

The relevant rights holder approves the work, the edition format, and the terms before Vera begins a release.

Proof

The edition is judged in physical form, where color, relief, finish, scale, and substrate can be seen together.

Record

The certificate and registry entry keep the object legible after release, including its number or release class.

Your role

The rights holder remains central to the project. Vera's model is built around approval, participation, and clarity.

The rights holder approves the work selected, the edition format, the physical proof, the release terms, and the public language around the edition. Commercial terms are agreed before release, including the rights holder's economic participation.

Record & care

Each edition is released with declared terms: the work, artist, rights holder, format, scale, substrate, release structure, certificate, and registry reference.

When samples, proofs, source material, or original works require care, Vera treats them as sensitive objects. Access is limited, condition is recorded, transport is controlled, and public use is not assumed.

First conversation

The right first step is usually narrow: one work, one possible edition format, one proofing path, and one clear rights conversation.
